Structure

Organizational outline of Consortium

  1. This Consortium consists of universities, research institutes and corporations at home and abroad.
  2. A secretariat* is established to advance activities of the Consortium.
  3. Meetings with representatives of leading member organizations are held accordingly, for exchange of opinions on visions for future activities, policies, strategies, personnel affairs for managerial staffs and execution plans.
  4. Members of this Consortium may organize some sub-groups.Such groups are duly organized by some of member universities, research institutes and corporations.

* For the time being, Kyushu University Business School (QBS) will act as secretariat.

Relation between ICABE and sub-groups

  1. Members of this Consortium may organize some sub groups** according to the purpose of their activities.
  2. Members of a sub-group are chosen from appropriate universities, research institutes and corporations, according to the sub-group's purpose.
  3. The secretariat of this Consortium receives reports from respective sub-groups, and grasps their activities to sum up the overall situations.

** As of March 22, 2005, a sub-group called EAREC (East Asian Research & Education Consortium) was organized with major universities in East Asia.EAREC, which consists of universities in a relatively limited area in the Far East, conducts substantial activities with those members, educates people, conducts research and stores and shares information through portal sites.Members of EAREC enjoy the benefits of those activities.

Relation between ICABE and corporations

  1. Any corporations that agree to the purport of this Consortium and wish to join it can become members.
  2. Through portal sites, corporations can enjoy the benefits of information stored by the Consortium's activities and the network, with or without charge.
  3. The International Consortium of Asian Business Education makes every effort to build close relations with influential enterprises at home and abroad, and to enjoy their material and immaterial support, in return for the benefits the Consortium offers.
