HOME What ICABE Stands For Purpose of ICABE

In recent years, in accordance with the globalization of corporate management, the significance of business in Asia has increased more than ever.As a result, the industrial world urgently needs to develop business professionals who can lead the Asian region.To meet this requirement, business schools and other educational institutes in Asia and other countries around the world have put more emphasis on studies concerning Asian business.

The International Consortium of Asian Business Education (ICABE) is a global network of educational institutes that have advanced such efforts, while at the same time building a network connecting industry and academia, promoted by those educational institutes and enterprises that are enthusiastically doing business in Asia.This Consortium aims to share substance and know-how for Asian business education, which many educational institutes have separately developed.An additional goal is to comprehensively drive forward such projects as joint studies on managerial problems, joint development of teaching methods and learning materials, exchanging lessons and students, and international internship, so as to greatly enhance educational effects.Thus we intend to help in the development of Asian economy and in the fostering of greater understanding among nations through business education.
